I've been to Tim's Auto Service 3 times and couldn't be more satisfied.  They're honest and definitely don't rip you off.  

First time I took my car there the "check engine" light was on. They thoroughly checked my car and determined there was nothing wrong.  With my lack of auto knowledge they could have ripped me off but they were totally honest.

I've been back 3 other times, mostly minor stuff and they've been great!  On my last visit, they noted a few things we should check again in a few months but didn't try to force anything on me.

Quick service and prices that you can't beat!  I have recommended them to family and friends. Love the fact that they're professional and know their stuff.

One word. AMAZING. I've been going to Tim's for over 12 years now and recommend all of my family and friends. They've helped me fix problems my BMW has given me over the years that even dealers couldn't figure out, and at a great price! I love Tim's Auto Service, I'm a customer for life. Thank you!

Tim is amazing. He is honest and thorough. He uses quality, American-made parts. Last time he replaced my brakes (including rotors), they were BETTER than they were when I bought my car new. 

He never pressures me into anything I don't need: he told me I need to change my belt within a year (instead of just doing it and charging me). He put a bottle of engine de-gunker in when changing my spark plugs because one of my cylinders was mis-firing instead of suggesting a costly engine re-build, and made a note to re-evaluate next time my car is in. 

In the last few years he upgraded to a nice computer-based invoice system, which makes my mechanical records look spiffy (a lot better than hand-written orders other shops may give you). He is still a small shop and I think he only has one staff mechanic (sometimes it is hard to get through by phone), but these are people you can trust. VERY RARE in South County!!!

Tim  as recommended to me from a friend in 2001. i took my jeep wrangler to him, then i took my subaru impreza to him, then i took my vanagon  to him, then i took my e350 van to him, then i took my explorer to him, then i took my mazda 5 to him, then i took my truck to him. everytime i have had a good experience. he is open, frank, honest and tells you how it is what it will cost and any options you have available to you. he has always been reasonable and professional and his work is superb. highly recommended and a rare find.
