Nice public park. Pay the gate attendant or the machine depending on who is there. Cash only. Go early in the day to pick up a good spot to picnic. You can swim, launch a boat, picnic, or just relax in the sun. They have a playground for kids, restrooms with showers, two boat ramps, beach area, small pavilions, and picnic benches. Busy on holidays and weekends.

ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING! Wildlife all over, that you stumble upon, walking through the wonderful wilderness trails along the winding beaches in Texas Hill County. If this ain't livin, I sure don't know what is! WOWWWEE ! Deer ate right out of my daughter's hand, TOTALLY AMAZING! Everyone was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and POLITE! The place is clean and DEFINITELY worth checking into!

It's a very nice park for 7 dollars, beautiful view. Entrance fee is charged everytime you leave re-enter. Bathrooms are usually closed so you have to use porta potty. I would like to see stricter and enforcing rules for littering.

The lake is lovely, however the Restrooms need regular maintenance and cleaning. The trash cans are overflowing, the faucets do not work and two toilets in the ladies were unusable. The men’s toilets were complete closed, due to a leak. For a fee to enter the park these things should be taken care of quickly. When trying to contact anyone the lines are always busy.

Love love love this park! You can hand feed the white tail deer at this park. Very quiet in winter months.
