Zero customer service. I went to buy a couple sport coats and dress shirts and ended up standing around for 45 minutes waiting for help. There were several employees around that seemed more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. I ended up walking out and going to another store. I don't think it should be a surprise when we hear about JCPenney having to close another round of stores.

So my experience at Jcpenny's this evening was the most unpleasant time I have ever had at our lovely north town mall. I had been in the store for about 15 minutes or so and had picked out some stuff to try on from the first floor and was about to go up-stairs when I saw some towels and floor Matt's for the bathroom I wanted. As usual a sales associate came up and asked if I needed any help, I kindly told her no thank you and she lingered around me anyways. After picking out a few towels I started making my way to the second floor when that same sales rep said oh miss would you like me to keep those towels down here for you till your ready to pay, sure why not so I handed her the bag. Once up stairs I started looking at pants an what not and here is that same sales associate following me!! She offered her assistance one more time and again I said no thank you and asked to please stop following me, I feel as if you are under the assumption I'm trying to steal something and I'm not. She is a bad liar because when she started rambling on no miss I'm a sales associate simply doing my job and floating. Floating is a term used for basuvly going around and a stratening up the clothse racks n what not. So she leaces me alone, just long enough to send two different employees to follow me around the store!! How rude I have money and no need to steal anything from anywhere and ill be damned if some sales associates are gonna make me feel like I'm a criminal when I have more money then they ever will. I honestly feel that I was being stereo typed because the color of my skin and the way I was dressed that they followed me, but regardless unless you see a person conceal an item you should not follow them around based off an assumption. It makes you and your company look horrible. I'll never step foot into that store ever again I can tell you that much!!

Marla made my visit make sure she helps you and you will be well taken care of. Makes up for their lack of having 4 burgundy ties!
