Went it looking for a matching wedding band to go with my engagement ring. And found it when I was told the price I told the sales person it was out of our budget but thanks anyways. She proceeded to tell me that if I waited for the super bowl sale it would be 50% off and with a friend's and family additional 20%... she did her calculations and showed me the price. I told her I would like to prepay for it and pick it up when it came in during the sale. She said to wait til it came in. Get the call that it was in and tells me that she can't give me the price she showed me and said that she never said she could.... so why did you show me your calculations on a bogus price you couldn't honor? They work off commission so I decided to take my business elsewhere!

My fiance and I went to Fred Meyer Jewelers to get new rings. We found one that was on sale that I fell in love with, more than 1/2 off. We talked to a consultant, Sue Bassett, who was very good at convincing us to purchase the ring. We got approved for the credit account and paid almost $500 in cash. We were told that the minimum payments each month were going to be $40. We were also told that we could come back within 30 days to add the lifetime warranty, which would be $100. We came to town the next weekend (hour and a half drive) to add the warranty. It ended up being $200, but we decided to pay for it, since a lifetime warranty is very important, even though we were told it would be $100. We went on our way and a week and a half later we got our bill in the mail...which stated the minimum payment would be $100...Totally angry at this point, since Sue told us it would be $40. I called and talked to Sue about the pricing and all she could do was apologize for giving us the wrong payment price. We ended up having to return the ring (after wearing it already for 3 weeks) because there was nothing she could do about the price except be "sorry". Very disappointed with this...We will NEVER shop with Fred Meyer Jewelers again!!!

What a terrible experience at this store!  Everything from waiting almost 16 weeks for my engagement ring to incorrect price information.  Going to try and return both rings although because they took so long to arrive I am outside of their return policy window.  Will not shop here again
