I'd give it 0 stars if I could. My friend paid 100$ for a room for the night and a 20$ deposit. Everything was fine until we went to check out in the morning. Online it says that kids are free but when my friend went to check out the man in the office said that there was an extra fee for having kids in the room. We made sure not to leave a mess in the room and he sent his wife to go look at it. All of a sudden there is a hand towel missing. We search all the bags and try to see if we really took the towel. My friend said she left it on the counter and the wife went back to look again and she took quite some time but apparently there was still no towel. The man said that there was a charge for the missing towel and my friend offered to buy one for him. He proceeded by screaming and calling her stupid and asking if she knew how to count. My friend kept her chill and her older sister proceeded to call the cops. The officer on the phone said not to Pay a penny until an officer came down. At this point my friends older sister is sobbing and we've got kids in the car who are itching to go to the beach. The officer comes down and talks to the owner. My friend ends up paying the fee to get it over with, they keep the deposit and the officer tells us to call corporate. (They were very kind on the phone thank you) Finishing off, we are not coming back.

***READ BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT GOING HERE*** This place is terrible. I recommend that you DO NOT GO HERE. I didn't read the reviews because a few people always have something bad to say about places. Me and a couple of friends went here. The owner was nice when we rented the room. He was very polite and we told him we just needed a place to lay our heads for the night and he said everything was fine. We told him there were 4 adults (We weren't counting the 3 children with us because it clearly says that kids under 17 don't count). He said that it was fine and he would take a $20 deposit but we would get it back depending on the way the room was left. So we went to our room and everything was perfectly fine. I used a hand towel for the table since we had ice and it got kind of wet. I left the hand towel there because I thought it would be fine. So my friends went and they were going to check out the next morning. We left the room in the best condition. We put everything but the hand towel on the table back where it belonged and we even folded the blankets. So when my friends went to check out the owner said he would send his wife to the room to see it. His wife was giving us dirty looks and they seemed really sketchy. So his wife went to the room and she was in there for a while. She called him and told him that there was a hand towel missing and that we had to pay $13 for a hand towel that normally costs like $1 at the dollar tree. So he kept our deposit and made my friend pay $19 extra. So my friend said that she would just go and buy him hand towels but she wanted her money back. He threatened to call the cops and get us all locked up. We ended up calling the cops before him and he didn't like that so he started screaming and calling us stupid and yelling at us. So I explained to him that it says kids under 17 are free and he screamed at me and my friend "IS THAT YOUR DAUGHTERS?" and we told him calmly that they weren't our daughters but they were family. I also explained to him that the hand towel was on the table and I could go to the room with his wife and get it and he screamed at me and sent his wife to check for it. So he said that we had to get out of the lobby and wait outside and we told him we weren't going to leave until we got the money. So he said it was fine but he went to the back with his wife. So the cops finally showed up and we talked to them and told them the situation. The cops talked to him and they said we had to pay the money to them to just get it over with but they told us to write a review. DO NOT GO TO THIS MOTEL!!!!!

Had my doubts at first but our room was clean, linens new, beds comfortable, all personnel was pleasant and helpful, bathroom shower/tub in great condition . It showed that management was definitely attempting to keep the motel rooms up. I will definitely be staying here again. It was better than expected experience and ended up staying 3 days.

Hotel is located in the Historic District minutes from downtown. Great price for the location. The staff are friendly, helpful and humorous. Check-in was easy and the rooms had new air conditioners, refrigerators and microwaves. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but who stays in the room when visiting Saint Augustine. I noticed that some of the reviews must have been written about another location and it is my understanding that people have this location confused with another Knights Inn on I-95 that either closed or changed its name to something else. It is a shame that people do not post their comments to the correct hotel or location. We found nothing wrong with our acomodations and will likely stay here often. We enjoyed our stay!

They have a very good location, near everything. The room was clean. No so happy with the service.
