Story

Bring the kids and have some fun at Lakeland RV Resort, located halfway between the exciting attractions in both Tampa and Orlando. As a family-friendly resort, Lakeland has a heated, full-sized pool. Hot tub is under construction. Competitive guests can challenge each other to on-site games of mini-golf, shuffleboard, basketball, and horseshoes.

Become part of the community at the resort-run campfires, cruises, movie nights, potlucks and ice cream socials, or relax in solitude while fishing on the resort’s modest, fully-stocked lake. For pet owners, Lakeland offers a dog washing station and a fenced-in dog park.

Lakeland has 230 spacious, full-hookup sites, including several large enough to handle super-sized big rigs. At our RV park, you can also rent additional sites for tent camping, or stay in one of our on-site cabins. When you get hungry, have take-out food delivered right to your RV’s door.

We have booked a month here. The park is very clean and lovely pool and club house/rec hall. Most people seem very friendly. However we are stuck near the back by the garbage dump and there is a steady stream day and night of cars coming to dump their garbage. And of course we get the big garbage trucks coming early (6am ) to empty the bins. The people around us all seem to be permanent and never seem to be outside. The one trailer has a large dog which almost all day, everyday we have been here barks, when the owners are out. We can even hear him inside over the noise from the traffic on I4. Although there are other empty spots they apparently are all booked up Would we recommend this park to others? Not sure, maybe, if they were not "stuck" in the back corner

The employee who escorted us to our site pointed out a used condom then quickly covered it with dirt. Told me it probably belonged to the permanent occupant next door. A single male. Really? I don't find it a joking matter!

We stayed there last year (March 2016) and again this year. We requested a lot beside the lake from the beginning of our reservations (December 2015). Was told nothing available but to check in February. Did and than again before we left and again told nothing was available. Was put on this horrible spot. No space between units what so ever and all the time we were there a spot on the late was available. Inquired and told no it was taken. We have stayed at other Sun Resorts and had wi-fi and cable, Nope not available at Lakeland RV. Just was not happy with the appearance of the park this year. Some of the units there are very old and pretty nasty looking. Hope things change..... We won't be back.....

We've stayed here a few times now and it's always a joy! Clean, friendly and beautifully maintained! The staff are very nice, professional and courteous. I highly recommend this RV Resort if you're in the area!

This place seems OK when you first arrive, but soon you will see the real problems. Starting with a activities director that can't get out of his own way,knows nothing about dealing with people.nepotism is alive an well here. Dinners for profit (where does the money go)..everybody pays a different price.be happy find any other Rv park. THIS ONE SUKS
