Reviews

After being displaced because of a termite abatement, this hotel turned out to be the best place for us. We took advantage of the pool and laundry facilities as well as the hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, etc). Great value for service provided. Hot cookies in the afternoon a bonus. Staff was very accommodating and cordial (especially Rita). Book from Choice Hotels website to save more.

Informed the front desk that the room smelled like mold coming from the ac unit they told me that they'd have a maint man come in and service it. After that the room just smelled like mold and air freshener. I began to notice the whole hotel smelled of mold. Checked out early. It's a shame it's really a nice hotel besides the smell

The parking lot was small and filled by 9pm. Trash cans on the outside were running over. The room had a smell, maybe something water related. Could see water stains in the ceiling. Floors were not clean. The remote didn't work properly. Terrible lighting in the room on top of all that. When the air came on we discovered the smell was coming from the a/c unit. Around 9am the next morning we were abruptly awaken by a loud beeping noise beeped for over a hour, found out the smoke detector's battery needed changing in the adjoining room . Terrible stay, one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed. On the good side water was extremely hot usually hard to find in a hotel. There were nice amount of restaurants near along with a gas station.

We stayed at sleep Inn and suites in Lakeland Florida, in room 217. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Especially the hosted at the front desk her name was Theresa, she made our night such a sweet lady even one of my grand daughters made a picture with a note on it for her. The best experience I have ever had in a hotel stay

The Sleep Inn & Suites in Lakeland Fl. was a in a perfect location to restaurants and shopping areas. The room was an okay size clean rooms and bathrooms. Only thing is with the billing and payment process. One day I was told I needed no upfront payment and then the day I was checking in they told me that my room would be canceled if I didn't pay upfront, but I was like noone told me that. And they also was trying to charge me twice for my room deposit. But after all of that it was overall a good stay.
