Lone Star Realty is an extremely professionally run organization that seeks to meet all of the needs of the tenants and owners alike. They always have a great attitude and strive to go the extra mile. They are proactive and comprehensive in their services. Simply put, Lone Star Realty is the best property management company that I have ever worked with. I would like to specifically single out Linda Sito for her willingness to always go the extra mile. She is a superhero in my eyes.

I’ve been using them for rental property since 2002. I was active duty at the time and they handled the sale of the house to me and have been my property managers for the last 15+ years. I’ve had very few problems with them. Half these one star reviews are for repairs not getting done and I don’t think tenants understand that property managers need permission from the owners to fix things. If something is not getting fixed, it’s may be the owners not willing to pay for it or dragging their feet. All the repairs they’ve asked me to approve have been handled quickly, so I don’t think the problem is this company. We even coordinated major roof repair while I was deployed with no issues. I’ve dealt with quite a few of their employees over the years: Linda, Brenda, Tim, Jana, Brandee, Naomi, Melissa, among many others, and all have been polite and professional. I would recommend them to friends and family, but after reading some of the deposit comments, I’d probably tell them to take lots of pictures.

Words cannot express how deeply grateful we were able to have Karen Doerbaum, as our realtor. She help us realize our dream of owning our home, fought for us to the very end. She made this a very pleasant experience and always kept us informed of what was going on. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home. She's the best!!! Thank you!!

DON'T DO IT!!!! Their customer service is horrible. I am not sure how they are even in business. From a home owners perspective, they take your money and constantly want you to pay high priced invoices all the time for things that are not even Health and Safety issues. The communication between owner and the property management is almost non-existent. I just got off the phone with the OWNER (Her name is Karen Doerbaum) to discuss the multiple issues that I am having. I was hoping to have a reasonable conversation since I pay them every month. She had an attitude from the beginning and did not care at all how I am being treated by the staff. UNPROFESSIONAL. Yelling was involved. She laughed over the phone when I was talking about concerns that I had about MY property. Total SHOCK!! I have been with them for 5.5 years. If I could give them ZERO stars then I would. Do yourself a favor and find a property management that is professional and truly cares to help take care of your property, after all isn’t that what they are paid to do??? I will be contacting the BBB and filing a complaint. They have to be paying people to write good reviews because they suck at running a business. They need to be black listed from the military.
