This  company is the worst realty company that I have ever tented from ever. They're staff at this location is very unprofessional,  disorganized and   disrespectful  I've reported to the leasing office as well as the maintenence   that my  refrigerator was leaking months ago, and still months later it still leaks. They come into your property without giving you a  24 hour notice that they will be inspecting your apartment. Which I know is illegal.  If you are looking for a safe, quite neighborhood  to live in. Where you will be treated with respect by the staff. This is definitely  not the place you want to rent.

I rented a property with Longhorn from 2013-2016. My electricity bill was over $500 every month for about 7 months, I thought nothing of it until the thermostat went out in the house. It took 2 weeks for them to send someone out to fix it (in the middle of August) I had a new born baby in the house and it was over 98 degrees and they told me it was nothing they can do about it. When the maintenance man came out he advised me they had the wrong thermostat and that explains why my electricity bill was so expensive. I advised Longhorn of this problem and of course it was nothing they could do about it. Every time we put in a maintenance request it took over 2 weeks for a response. They are very rude to you when you need something done buy nice when you pay rent. I moved out over 9 months ago and have yet to receive my security deposit. 9 months! Every time I call "their accountant is out of the building at the moment." I don't understand why they are holding my security deposit. The worse company I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't advise renting from them, a complete headache.

We rented through Longhorn for a year and had no issues as far as maintenance requests being completed. Once we moved out it's been a different story. We received no copy of our move out inspection and not only did they take all of our deposit, we were left with a balance of $108. The charges listed on the inspection were completely bogus, such as the $400 charge for a door that was in the exact condition it was in when we moved in. Oh, and trying to get anyone to contact you back from their "Accounting" department is like pulling teeth. I will go out of my way to tell someone, especially soldiers, NOT to use Longhorn. We will also be filing a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission. I worked in the accounting department for real estate and never in that time did we treat tenants like this.

We have had issues with the home that we are now renting. None of them taken care of. When we moved in, we checked everything. Quite a few issues on the home. The home being 2 years old is still on warranty, but the things needing attention are not of importance.  We are property owners  ourselves and when there is an issue with our home, we take care of i
t right away. Not recommended renting with longhorn properties.  Their concern is not the tenants, but the money! A good property management takes care of the issues brought to them. . With all the things we have to do, like shampooing the carpet every 6 months and 1400.00 a month rent, you'd think you'd get better service. Check other management services before you get stuck with longhorn properties!  This property management is by far the worst!

I am a client of Longhorn properties.  They manage my property and have not had any issues.  All reviews are years old this company has stepped up their game.  Would recommend to Landlords looking into handing their property to property management.
