We are first time home buyers and we were given Derrick Matthews name as a referral.  Derrick exceeded our expectations.  He's patient and extremely knowledgeable.  We gave him a description of what we were looking for.  He did not disappoint us.  From the first house he showed us until the home we selected, he was there with us throughout the entire process.  He has been a blessing to us.  He was there for the signing of the contract with DR Horton, all walk through's (he was there before we got there placing blue tape throughout the home), home inspection, and closing.

This company takes advantage of military families, use their business power as a threat and do NOT what so ever have good customer service. This company is one of that many that believe military personal get paid millions so they charge for everything in exceeding prices.
The day my husband and I went in to sign our lease the older man helping us made a comment that never left my head and made my stomach turn up side down about this company but since my husband and i were in a rush to settle before his first day in a new duty station we went with it. Never the less my gut was 100% correct. It's a disappointment that our military gets treated so rude by a disgraceful company. My husband and I moved out Dec 31st; today I finally received the itemization of security deposit today is Feb 5th; I now have four days to get my letter to Texas or pay the EXTRA  293.00 that they think they deserve on top of my deposit of 900.00. I called a month ago and I was told it would take at least 30 days to send my check, can you imagine if I would have said the same when it came to paying my deposit?! They lied saying they fixed something "that I broke" that was already broken when I moved in & are charging me for it, when clearly I have written on the residential lease inventory and condition form. I am 100% going to fight this. They want to charge me 300 for lawn care (during winter). 
I have so much to say about their maintenance work, but I will save my time for now.

They will charge you for any fees they can. They force you to use their contractors for repairs who charge ridiculously high. Because my rent was pending I couldn’t send an payment for a balance of $350 for PAINT and then they claimed my rent is now late from that balance. I’m irate because it’s been over a month and the repairs haven’t even been done. And when you call they dismiss you - the woman on the phone said I should’ve brought he payment to the store - not my problem your portal is setup that way.  This company has ZERO regard for its tenants. They just want to gouge you for money!!!! Avoid them - my rent is always paid on time and I’ve kept my house in immaculate condition yet they speak to you as if you’re from the bottom of the barrel. NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Don’t even waste your time here. Go to “That Realty Place” they would be more than happy to take care of your rental and Property Management needs. Starpointe Realty is one of the worst and most dishonest property Management’s in Killeen. They charge the tenant for repairs and they charge the homeowner for the same repairs to line their own pocket. I will never let them manage a property of mine and nor will I ever rental property from them.

Would give 0 stars if I could. We called and set up an appointment for a showing. We showed up to the house and waited for 30 minutes. No one showed. When we called them to ask what was going on, they said that even though the office schedules the appointments, it is up to the showing agent to reschedule based on her schedule. What sense does that even make at all???? When we asked why they would schedule a time with us without asking the agent, they kept repeating the same thing and didn't offer any type of apology and told us to call the agent ourselves to schedule it. I thought that was the whole point of us calling the office before and setting up a time, did they say anything the first time about us calling the showing agent? No. So unprofessional and rude. We had come from out of town. Absolute waste of time. Glad we went with a different rental company who actually showed up to the time scheduled.
