Ashton in the makeup (Urban decay, Buxom, Anastasia lines) was amazing! My daughter and I were in today and she helped us get the perfect look, helped show us how best to apply, and was awesome. Was nice to feel spoiled and get help from someone who knew what they were doing and willing to show us how to do it at home instead of pushing stuff on us that we'd get home and never know how to use. She was wonderful answering questions and showing techniques. Made our trip wonderful. Thank you so much!

I ordered 2 items online for in-store pick up; earrings and a griddle. It took the fine jewelry associate over 30 minutes to assist me. The earrings were fine, but the griddle was in a severely damaged box. It looked like it had been thrown down an escalator or something. Who would accept that?! I was told to go upstairs to exchange it. I go up there and the clerk (rude Indian woman) says, "Go to the next customer service desk and they can help you." I walk over and no one is there... So I walked back over to her and she says, "Well I was about to go home but I guess I can exchange it for you. Go grab a new one." As if I was inconveniencing her! She should have just helped me the first time I asked... I spent over $1800 on what should have been a quick pick-up order; but instead it took them 45 minutes and I received horrible service.

Beware of their Macy's Card & Customer Service 1. I was talked into a Macy's card which turned out to be a regular credit card! I asked the sales person multiple times, i.e. explicitly, if the "Macy's Card" would be like a regular credit card and thus coming along with all the downsides & side-effects of a credit card. This was denied repetitively by the sales agent in the store by giving me to understand that the Macy's card is no such thing like a "regular credit card" but an in-house customer loyalty / member card. Turned out to be false and like cheap sales-tactics were applied to trick a new customer into signing up for the Macy's card! ( -> This is a big no-go!! Result: Hard pull on the credit history brought me down a whole 13 points!) 2. The Macy's card never arrived in my mailbox, however, the first credit statement did! In Macy's at the 12 Oaks Mall today, they refused to help me with that issue, claiming that I have to call the customer service to clarify this issue. Since the credit card never arrived, I can't link it to my banking account to pay the balance. Stating to the sales person, that I would like to pay my balance so that at least I could avoid any late fees. I was told that this can be done in-store but only with cash or a debit card. Since I had neither one with me, I would have to return another time. How convenient! 3. Calling the customer service to get all these issues clarified, resulted in 3 things: a) a phone line with an acoustical quality like back in the year of 1990, b) after speaking to a customer service representative I was told that they will check my data and put me on hold --> 27minutes!!! I hung up after nobody responded any longer!, c) nothing got clarified in the end! How convenient! Beware of their customer service and so called "Macy's Card", which is nothing but a regular credit card with all downsides to it (like a hard pull on the credit history). It is shocking that this kind of "customer service", applied sales tactics and resulting negative customer experience still exist in 2018. Lessons learnt: There are other shopping options out there, with far superior customer service & transparent terms & policies. Good by Macy's. Hello Amazon!

I was looking for an Origins product. I called and the person who works that department was on break. Kathleen in the fragrance department answered the phone and went above and beyond to help me. She went to the actual counter and checked to ensure they had what I need. I'm honestly not used to that helpful of workers at a department store. She deserves some recognition from corporate!

WOW !!! Wonderful customer service !!! Excellent deals , as always, and quality. Bob treated me as a number one customer in the coat section !!! This is my new favorite Macy's. Thank you for awesome service Bob !!!
