My review is strictly on the tool section because I don't have any other reason to go to Sears. They have a decent selection of Craftsman, Craftsman Pro, and a few other brands here. The Craftsman stuff is almost always on sale with huge discounts - frequently 50% off or more - you just have to be careful what you buy because some of it is junk. Their basic ratchets and hand tools now have plastic parts that are easy to break, and they are all made in China. But the "Craftsman Pro" line is still all metal and seems to be high quality. Be careful on tool warranties though - they have about 10 different levels of "Lifetime", "Limited Lifetime", and shorter warranties. They do offer a rewards program where you can get money off towards future purchases that is pretty nice. Last time I was in they were offering $50 in rewards if you bought $100 worth of tools. They are out of stock on a lot of things (like Knipex tools) though and their answer to this is they have "no idea" when they are going to get their next truck. I was told this when I brought an adjustable wrench in for a warranty replacement and they told me they didn't have one available and weren't sure when they might get their next truck. "Could be a month, could be 2 weeks, could be six weeks" was their answer. I've been here several times over the last few months and haven't ever seen some of these items get restocked. I was able to warranty two old ratchets without issue, though. I was given the option to either have their tool refurbisher rebuild mine, or choose from one of three already-refurbished options they had in a toolbox behind the counter.

Bought a Samsung washer dryer combo from a location I thought was reputable. I purchased top of the line largest capacity units. I even bought the extended warranty. I have had nothing but issues with the dryer. I attempted to get repaired 4 times. Service technicians claim same thing, the last guy didn't know what he's doing. I waited on a back order part for 4 weeks without a dryer or time that part would come in and unit could be repaired. I got it repaired after part came in off back order and same week the same error code showed up....ugh. This is the very worst service I have had from any business. No regard for the people they sell to. I'm writing this while waiting for another service guy 6 months of on and off issues. 4 days of missed work. Please consider another department store when buying large appliances. I have a lemon and nobody at Sears will stand behind their product.

Long ago, sears used to be an expensive department store that had everything; now, in order to survive in the battle against amazon, it’s turned into an inexpensive department store that has everything. Great tools, clothes and appliances. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible store. I will never purchase anything from sears again. I purchased shorts to prepare for a trip. When I was packing for my trip I realized the shorts were damaged. They wouldn't exchange or refund the shorts. Essentially told me it was my problem. Called corporate and they said too bad. Shorts still had original tags and receipt and are unworn. What a terrible company that has no regards for consumers. Telling everyone on social media.

Went here to purchase new ladies pants. I found a good sale and purchased a few pairs. I got some very poor service from the cashier though..I guess I was bothering her?
