Seems a bit pricey for an average meal. Gluten free not guaranteed. Cross contamination with gluten-not recommended for celiacs disease. Salads are tolerable for gluten allergies/sensitivity. Read ingredients to ensure. Disappointed by the salads. Love the earth friendly to-go but it is not a shaking container for salads. It absorbs a lot of dressing. Not enough dressing due to container, tomatoes were soured. The people are really nice. Parking lot can be a mad house on peak hours.
Nice atmosphere. Comfortable seating and friendly staff. Only one register open with three large groups of people ordering or waiting to order which was a bit of an inconvenience. Found the Southwest Salad ample in size and certainly constitutes an entire meal in and of itself. The lime dressing was a perfect topping. They give you huge cups of water which is great. The restroom garbage was overflowing with paper towels disposed of all over the floor which was disheartening. All in all though, this was a great experience I would partake in again. The older crowd really enjoys the salads.
Normally this place is a hit! We frequently go and buy the whole family dinner. I am not a big salad person BUT the Savannah salad is something wickedly delicious. However, today I decided to go with a sandwich. The bread throughout eas burned. Both top and bottom was black and tasted awful. I cant quite understand how this sandwich was assembled without someone hesitating. No one likes burned bread. I think that is a pretty universal statement. Usually a win but today's pricey dinner left me hungry. Really don't want to see this place fade like all the other greats After writing the above I discovered my husbands soup was burned and full of black spots. The brocolli and cheese was terrible today. His salad looked terrible. I dont know what happened but I should be refunded the 70 dollars spent on my dinner. Not going back.
First time eating here with my wife and we were very impressed with this place. Chloe the cashier was super friendly and very welcoming and the food was very good. The prices were very reasonable for what you get. We both got the pick 2 for $9.59 and that was a great deal. Also the restaurant was very clean and had plenty of seating with a great atmosphere! We will definitely be back! :
Today I ordered my lunch for delivery and the 3rd party delivery service dropped off the wrong bag and left. I called in hopes that I could reach the driver and quickly swap - that was not the case as they use a 3rd party company. Instead, Jim, the GM delivered the food himself!! Talk about going above and beyond for the customer. Many people at work order from here and this was my first experience. I will definitely be going again as the sandwiches and salad were still delicious and I’m extremely impressed with the customer service I received. Thank you Jim!!
This is a wonderful hidden gem. I love their food- soup, sandwiches, salads, and baked potatoes. Everything is amazing and the service is great. I discovered McAlister's when I was driving down Dale Mabry, pregnant, and desperate for a Reuben sandwich. I was looking around as I was driving and spotted McAlister's and ran in as quick as I could and sure enough, I was able to get my hands on a glorious Reuben sandwich.
Update 8-8-22 Went here to pick up dinner. 7:30pm and they were out of tea. Was told "I'd have to make more tea". We opted not to do that. Seemed the employee was more interested in flirting with the other employee to pay attention to customers anyway. They almost gave us someone else's order. After waiting an unusually long time only one other set of customers was in the restaurant, four people that had already been served, we asked for our order. For some reason, it was like it didn't even show up for the back. It was supposed to be quick and easy and out, just soup and nachos. 20 minutes later, they gave us the correct bag but without the soup... Glad I checked before leaving. I think it'll be a while before we go back Original review - We go to this restaurant several times a month. The food is awesome, the restaurant is always clean, and the service is always an amazing, especially Crystal! They also give back to the community which is ALWAYS a plus in my book!
I absolutely love this place. Great ingredients, you can taste the freshness of the food. And not overly expensive for all that you get. Never gotten a messed up order. Everything about this place is amazing.
Stunningly poor service, sub par product. I made the unfortunate choice to stop in the order a take out item when I was home alone Saturday night 11/5. The store was devoid of customers one women was on the bench waiting to pick up I ordered the French Dip asked if I wanted a pickle with the order, I responded, Yes, I love them!and sat down. after twenty minutes I stood out in front of the counter area. Someone, who appeared to be some level of management but perhaps not on duty asked me if i needed anything , I responded "just the dinner I have been waiting 20 min for" . Still no urgency, as she then moves to help the cashier who is waiting on the only person in the last 20 min place their order. thankfully this person finally got around to looking at the order up on the counter. bagged it up and the cashier gave me my dinner. When I got home 2minutes away opened my dinner I got a stale roll cold beef , a thin sliced of cheese that only covered 2/3s of the meat, salty Au Jus that was hot but unappealing and No pickle. This business is a shadow of what it formerly was. Waste of time and money
