During our visit to see a friend, we stumbled upon this new Mediterranean restaurant and were immediately intrigued to give it a try. I ordered the power wrap, a meatless gyro, which was absolutely fantastic but a little messy. My wife opted for the Tabalu salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We are already looking forward to returning and sampling more of the menu. Highly recommend! #MediterraneanFood #PowerWrap #MeatlessGyro #TabaluSalad Vegetarian options: The power wrap is awesome.

We are so happy to have found this place! For anyone who lives in this area, it's where pita republic used to be. The service at Turkuaz Mediterranean was so exceptional. They were so friendly and prompt! The food is AMAZING and reasonably priced. They also have an adorable selection of loose leaf teas, baklava, and Turkish delight. Lastly, they are open until 10 pm which is hard to find in my neighborhood. So thank you and bravo!
I liked!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried chicken pita, lamb gyro, beef gyro plate, Keabe and everything was spectacular, the flavor was amazing, and what I liked most about the place is that it is close to where I live and very clean. RecommendedFood: 5/5
First but not the last time! We were long time fans of a greek place that recently shutbdown-so we gave this a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and flavorful everything tasted-especially being delivered. The delivery driver was super nice, food was hot, order was correct! All around, we were satisfied with the order. Vegetarian options: Veggie options are delicious-get xtra sauce Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free options
What can I say about this place. This place is so good the first time that I tasted a Turkish gyro in Italy. Turkuaz is so good you need to give them a try. Love it. I love it. I am going againFood: 5/5
The food was delicious, the service was friendly and informative. We ordered the Turkish doner sandwich, which is a Mediterranean-style burrito filled with well-seasoned chicken, vegetables, and French fries! The Kofte platter had nicely seasoned beef patties on a bed of some of the tastiest rice we've ever eaten and was accompanied by a shepherd salad, which is finely chopped garden vegetables topped with parsley and mint. Also accompanying the platter was a tangy pickle assortment. We started the whole meal with an order of stuffed grape leaves and an Ayran, which is a traditional yogurt based drink similar to Persian doogh - creamy and salty. We're going to make Turkuaz one of our regular stops for fine food.
NOTE: Any other review that is older than 5 months DOES NOT REFER TO TURKUAZ! They've taken over from Pita's Republic and have been open for a couple of months only by the time of this review so please, keep that in mind. I absolutely respect, admire and enjoy this place. Started out as a spin-off from Pita's Republic and it became a name of its own. I've traveled around the world and have enjoyed -in person- the flavorful palate of the mediterranean cuisine in many occasions Greece, Italy, Turkey, Morocco. Now I have that here at home! Boutan brings the original, indigenous, bona-fide flavors directly from Turkey. Spices, ingredients and so on. It is absolutely fantastic and if that wasn't enough, the deserts are to die for Backlava, Kadayif, etc. This may not be for your average dining crowd, this is more sophisticated than it looks. In addition, Aitach and Boutan hope I spelled their names right are fantastic hosts. If you are looking for an alternative in Mediterranean food, try this with eyes closed.
First time here, and definitely not the last. Turkish dumplings were amazing, the beef pide was great, and the tabouli was good, not used to eat it with onions tho. Great choice!
The food is amazing, the service of the new owners is exceptional, a lot of Turkish products and pastries.
