Best McDonald’s drive thru experience. I believe the lady at the window’s name was Cathy. She was so sweet. Speedy service, didn’t wait in line forever. Got my order right too. Thanks for the great service, and Cathy deserves a raise!
I have gone to this location on 3 occasions Excepting cash only 2 x no one answers the drive through You see what looks to be a manager but he’s not taking orders or serving food. At 6:45 am. Says they open at 6:00 am! Won’t be going again. Honestly why do people even bother to have a business if they have no intention of serving their community. Is it any wonder as to why this location has a 3.1 rating?
The cashier just told us to not order because they were closing in 15 min and “had a long night” It was 7:35pm. They have absolutely no control over the staff. it’s sort of a depressing symbol of what has become the norm: terrible service, long lines, and disappointment. That’s 25 minutes that we will never get back. We live less than a mile from this location but we are going to start using the Wilmington island McDonald’s because this store unfortunately just doesn’t deserve our business anymore.
About 20 minutes after opening, I waited in drive through line at order speaker for 5 min. Drove up to window to see if people were working. Employees saw me and left the view of the window. Left after.
I am sorry but when I walk into a restaurant, even a fast food restaurant, I would very much like to receive some level of service. Being forced to enter my order on a kiosk especially one that does not work very well is not my idea of service. We turned and left without ordering when the person standing behind the counter said we had to order at the kiosk and that she would not take our order, even though she was standing right there and we were the only people in the restaurant. We went to Dunkin’s instead and each had a delicious breakfast sandwich, a finite and great coffee. And the young lady that took our order and served us was a veritable delight. I don’t imagine I will ever go to a McDonalds again if they continue with the kiosk blunder.
This was the third time we have been there and they are only taking cash. That is very inconvenient when I barely ever carry cash. Luckily I had some that day and the food was hot and they got the order correct!Food: 5/5
This location is consistently sub-par. They get my order wrong almost every single time. This time, like every time, I asked for iced coffee with LIGHT CREAM. I swear they put extra cream in here. It doesn't even taste like coffee. It's so frustrating that every time, with a simple order, they can't get it right. Go the extra few miles to a different location
Have been to this location a few times and its very slow service. I use mobile app and it is always a nightmare getting my order delivered to me. And last time when I ordered the fries I received were probably re-fried as a normal human being can not eat such hard fries. Very disappointing experience. Management should look into this. Mobile App ordering should be stopped if restaurant can not handle it.
Something inside of a decent human being should say..."No I'm just not going to sell this disgusting looking meal to a paying customer...it's wrong and I'm going to have my cooks do better" Shame on you McDonald's. Clearly false advertising.
Me and my wife ordered two Big Mac's and they only bothered to make half of each. This is the same place that has rude or half asleep people on the window. Be prepared to be pull up to wait, even if your are the only person there and 3 out of every 4 trips you will have to go inside to get the rest of your order. This has to be one of the worse McDonalds in Savannah.
