After living on the property for 7 months I witnessed people be mistreated by the staff, told to leave the property for no reason, and then charged unnecessary fees. Fran in the office has talked rudely to me and many others several times and has also told people lies speaking for me. I know this for a fact because she has lied to me as well. Beautiful property but the people running it should not be in the hospitality industry. Beware of leaving your card on file.

I am extremely unhappy with the Miller RV park in Johnson City, Texas. I made my reservations several weeks in advance for Spring Break Weekend 2016. The first email confirmation I received had the wrong dates listed. I wrote back and got that corrected. Then since the reservation was a few weeks in advance, I felt I needed to CONFIRM the reservation a few days ahead of our arrival. When I called, I was told the reservation was fine and they would be ready for us to arrive. Then, I called again the evening prior to our arrival just to be sure. During this call I was told that my reservation was CANCELED as they said I requested on the previous call. That of course was an out and out lie. I guess they don't know the difference between the words "confirmed" and "canceled." They said they had rented our space but they would call that person and say there was a mistake therefore giving us our space back. (This, I'm sure, made that person mad also.) When we arrived after hours, we were directed to what essentially was an overflow area (i.e. a parking lot, no picnic table or shade, only utilities). The next morning I went to the office and they again told me I had canceled the reservation, but they were doing me a favor by giving me that space since I had "canceled." I had prepaid for the entire week and requested a discount due to the overflow area. They said they absolutely would not give me a discount and basically said if I didn't like it, they could always rent it to someone else since they were so busy. I told them that was not acceptable and I wanted a refund. They said the minimum I had to pay was 2 nights. I wound up renting from Roadrunner Campground, also in Johnson City, and stayed the remainder of the week. However, since Miller RV insisted on me paying for the second night, I would up paying twice for that day. Overall, I am extremely unhappy with the RUDENESS AND LACK OF A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE of the people running the Miller Creek RV Resort and have told anyone interested that they should not stay there and the reasons why. The Roadrunner RV resort in Johnson City is where we moved to and they were extremely willing to please us and make our stay very comfortable.

If you have a rig over 10 years old don't even ask if they have a spot available because the lady in the office won't tell you , they want to see pictures first and if she don't like it she won't say anything about a lot being available , my 35 ft is nice and well kept and not trashy . I guess you have to compete on who has the newest and most expensive rig at this park ,the place is nice but the way i was treated I'm glad I'm not there and don't waste your time driving there If your rig is older no matter the condition.
