I hired Mr. Rooter to unstop a -sewer drain for an agreed price of $198.00.  First they showed up (so they say) when my tenant had to go to work and were supposed to call both me and the tenant before going--NOT DONE.  Went the next day and left with the problem not solved.  I heard all kinds of excuses when the "plumber" started--even talking about how the roof vents should have been 3" instead of 2".   I called another (REAL) plumber this time and was repaired in less than 1.5 hrs. for a reasonable charge of $183.50.  the next day a charge came in from MR for $198.00.  They actually sent me the bill from roughly one year earlier--not even the rel bill.  I wrote a bad review on YELP and got an email from the owner telling me to contact Charlene, Operations Manager, to resolve the issue.  I was told that they had come out twice and as far as the line not being unstopped and being charged for it--that is just the way it has to be.  I now have this in dispute resolution with my CC holder.  I will take them to court to ensure I don't get ripped off.  My suggestion is to hire a "real" plumber in the first place.  This MR is out to rob people without rendering the service they want to be paid for.  Again--avoid them and hire a real plumber.  I would never use them again and recommend others to avoid them as well.  This MR deserves negative stars.

Mr. Rooter and Employees

I would like to thank you for exceeding expectations. 

The men demonstrated professionalism from start to finish. As a biologist I knew very little about plumbing and all of my 1000 questions I had for these guys were answered kindly and intellectually.  It was apparent that Mr. Rooter hires only high quality professionals as employees that take pride in their work. My brother and I are very impressed with the quality of work, speed of service, and employees.

Very honest and sincere employees. The technicians are honest and very thorough with their explanations. Their techniques are favorable in that, my home foundation isn't altered to fix problem. Highly recommend. Definitely a company I can count on!

I loved Brandon! Way more handsome than I expected a plumber to be, and he was so courteous and professional! I know plumbing is expensive anywhere you go, but he made it well worth the money! Will definitely be calling again in the future.

Absolutely horrible. And Michael I am still waiting for my darn pipe that you took that you said you needed...
We were suppose to fix my shower on the 25th of December. Never heard from him. This was after a $500-$1500 price estimate to fix the shower. 
Called dispatch to let them know I found someone else and I needed the pieces back, Michael called and told me it would be in the mailbox on Jan 3. NEVER GOT THE PIECE!! And the company I hired to do the job after his quote did so for $85.00 and was in and out and didn’t even need the broken pipe. 

Always check with local companies especially when hiring THIS company. It is now the 9th of January and not a part to be found in or around my home and I have cameras surrounding my property so please don’t say it was returned.... 

Absolutely horrible company.
