Nice hotel but we were unaware of the $25/day mandatory fee they charge you per day you stay. You get a $25 credit toward the restaurant in the hotel. But who's to say I want to eat there in the hotel when I can find food that I actually want and for less. You are kind of forced to use the credit, if you don't you just wasted $25 each day you are there. The parking is a bit much as well. $40 per day.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms are very modern. My room had a small couch and table area that I used for work. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there isn't a full-service restaurant on-site and the hotel does not offer room service.

Bottom Line, best overall Hotel I have stayed in NYC that is NOT $500+ a night. Rooms are spacious, very well kept. Great bar in the Hotel + a strip of really good neighborhood restaurants are an easy walk away. Brooklyn Bridge is real close and on a nice day, its great fun and good exercise to walk across and you end up in the Wall Street area !

Only good thing is the size of the rooms. No Room Service. The restaurant is literally like a coffee and donut food stand. The food stand coverts to a bar at night. The pictures advertised are so misleading. This is actually the first Marriott I have been so disappointed in. Good luck trying to find a good meal without walking over a mile since there is only microwave food inside this Marriott located at their food stand. Hopefully your kids don't catch a cold during the long walk to find a good meal.

Second time being here and it's a great spot love the staff and security is tight. Great place to have events as well! I suggest making sure that you either are taking an Uber here if you have a lot of bags or going when it's not peak hours of travel because the area is crowded. Their e check in is wonderful. The food catering services are good depending on what you want for your event.
