The Gallivant was a good hotel to stay at, especially if you plan to be out of the room for most of the time. It was near the subway and time square, easy walking distance from broad way and broad way shows...riding the subway was so easy and convenient once we figured out were to park. I am thankful this hotel allowed us too check-in our bags even after we checked out of the hotel so we could enjoy the city a little more. About the room: it's tiny , noisy (duh, you're in time square), and again its tiny. I didn't expect much since we paid a little over $100/night for one night, but I was surprised to see how well kept the room was with the exception of the bed. Thankfully we didn't stay in the room long enough to bother us; otherwise the stay was nice. I highly recommend people to stay here if its their first time in time square and want something cheap and convenient.

Best hotel to stay in Manhattan. 5 star service, location and very friendly staff. After I checked in one of the manager Benn came to make sure we are happy with room.

Loved it. The rooms a little small (double) but the price was amazing and the location..... don't knock this place trust me. Amazing location. 👍

Location was great! Staff were super friendly! But the room was very tiny, was not very clean either as we found a random sock in the bed which was dirty and didn't belong to us! Shuttle service from hotel is very reasonably priced.

I stayed at this hotel in March. The hotel was clean & nice. Room was small but I guess this is pretty much standard in NY. The only complaint I had was the key card to access my room. The key card had an issue and it would never unlock my room. The desk guy said it was because of my cell phone being near it and it demagnetized the card. That was not true. So each time I left my room I would need to get a new key card. That was annoying!! Especially when they have one elevator and it takes 10 minutes to come up & down.
