While working in cosmetics I brought to the managements attention that my co workers were purposefully selling the wrong color of foundation to customers because popular colors were constantly out of stock. The store management responded by explaining that we are to sell and push what is in stock. Today's Tacoma Nordstrom is used as a makeshift warehouse. They employ pickers who's job is to pick from the stores stock to fulfill online orders. The most popular foundation colors are taken away as quickly as they arrive to fulfill online quota's. If you want to go to this Nordstrom to get matched for your perfect foundation I recommend telling the employee that matches you up that you don't mind waiting for it to be shipped to you if the color that fits is not currently in stock. There are some amazingly wonderful women and men that work in cosmetics (although many of us have moved on). They can't help what is asked of them in order to meet their quota's and keep their jobs.

Bought a pair of UGH winter boots. As usual the service is excellent. Sales person cares tgat the shoes should fit you by asking you to walk around. When the size was not available, he checked the inventory and offered to ship to our address. This is a great store to shop shoes. Wanted to try their restaurant, but went out of time.

This one star is for the young lady who works at La Mer counter, her name is Bailey I think, she provided the worst customer service ever... As soon as I arrived at the counter, she excused herself saying she needs to go to the back looking for something and would be right back so I ended up standing and waiting for a good 5 minutes until another sale lady asked if I had been helped. I said no, not really so that lady helped me picking out my moisterizer, Bailey came out 15 minutes and didnt say a word, not even apologized for making me waited. Never expected this kind of customer service from Nordstrom, really disappointed.

So surprised... it’s the first time I was passed over with customers service. All I wanted to is get 3 boxes for my online order... and he took the person behind me instead that was buying a shirt. Then came back to me... so surprised 😮

My husband received excellent assistance in buying shoes. He, my mother-in-law and myself also enjoyed our lunch at the cafe. Everyone was top-notch, friendly and kind, including our server Eugene. Thank you, Nordstrom!
