My family and I have camped here for many years and have always enjoyed the staycation. Now that I have kids, I wanted to carry on the tradition. The campground has definitely changed. It seems as though there's a lot of "homeless" people scattered around, which gave me an uneasy feeling. I know they need a place too, it just had a different feel to it. I'll still take my kids but will just be more alert and less relaxed.

We camped here for one night. The gal at the stand wasn't very friendly, but she did do her job. I wish I could have stayed here longer. It's a beautiful campsite that is edged against the beach and monarch butterfly center. The sites are numbered and equipped with a parking spot, spigot, picnic table, near by restrooms and showers. It was quiet and everyone was respectful.

Right across the street from where i live so i take my kids camping here often. Good sized sites that allow for privacy. 20+min walk to pier. Bikes are great to have here. Big fire pits so bring plenty of wood. Campground is in the bottom right of this aerial photo i took and shows about a third of the campground. (Drone pic) Enjoy!

Great park to camp! $25, levelled and paved camp sites, each with their own picnic table and fire pit. You are close enough, yet far enough from your neighbours that you have privacy. Bathrooms are clean, you pay for the showers about $1 for 3mins they are super clean and hot. Dog friendly.

Don't go tent camping if you enjoy peace and quiet. Our first experience was terrible. Surrounded by 38 children loud and screaming before and after quiet hours. Tent spaces are close together with little to no trees in between so neighbors can stare. Definitely plan your plan your trip so it could be beautiful!
