We've stayed here several times and have always found our rooms to be clean and comfortable. We love having coffee in the morning and a beer in the evening at the table and chairs outside our room, looking at the mountain. The gift shop has a great selection of craft beers and any odds and ends you may have forgotten. It should be noted that in whatever room we have stayed in, the shower runs hot and cold and it's impossible to keep a consistent temperature. It's like the mountains and nature are reminding you to conserve water and speed it up. This is only a slight annoyance and hasn't stopped me from coming back over and over again.

Me and my family have been camping here for many years. Love the good times we have had here. Location is great, Whiteface mtn. in the background, and Lake Placid is close by. The owners and staff make us feel like were family.

Awesome gift shop, best beer selection for miles and great wine selection in their wine shop too. I am a local so I have never stayed at the facilities but I shop at their store frequently. Super friendly service too!

Recently stayed in the 100 Acre Woods section of the campground. Upon check in they have an employee meet you to take you to the exit after registration and they tell you where to go, once you get to the 100 Acre woods there is another employee waiting to drive you to your site, helps you get the RV in the spot, that was a first as most campsites have you find your own site. The sites are private. The grounds were clean well maintained. Public restrooms/showers were clean and up to date. My girlfriend and I went over to the "resort" section and boy are they close together. I am glad I booked in the 100 acre woods section. I would never book in the resort section. The general store has anything you would need whether you are temp camping or camping in an RV. They offer coupons for merchandise which is great. The ONLY reason this is getting a 4 and not a 5 is because of ONE employee, who I think was a manager, was very rude to another employee who was helping me out. You DO NOT treat your employees like that.

Simply awesome campground. Not rustic, but not to civilized either, they hit the sweet spot of camping with accommodations. Craft beer on site? Check!
