Bathrooms and showers need an overhaul at Wilmington Notch! Macomb State Park campsite bathrooms have been renovated in the past few years and are great. Wilmington Notch could use an upgrade similar to Macomb. Facilities at Wilmington Notch would not need to be as large. Time for the state to invest in Wilmington Notch and renovate bathrooms!  The campsites and staff are great. Perfect location to home base out of for hiking the 46 high peaks.

We've stayed here several times and have been very pleased over the last few years, but were thoroughly disappointed the most recent time last month, as the bathrooms/showers were horrible. Mold all over the shower curtains, dirt and tree debris everywhere, the feminine disposal container was overflowing, the toilets clearly hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long. This was never an issue when we stayed before; the bathrooms had always been clean. I'm truthfully questioning whether or not to book our next trip up with this campground. The campground itself it nice, convenient location, plenty of space between spots, good cell service for help planning hikes... just extremely poor maintenance.

Great camping spot if looking for quiet.  Close to Whiteface Mountain.  Popular with High Peaks hikers because it is quiet.  Bathrooms not always the cleanest.

Great campground to use as a base camp for hiking in the local area, has all the amenities needed, flat sites, warm showers, toilets, ice and firewood.  At night you can hear the Ausable from any camp site and the views of the falls are amazing (short hike down to them). The road noise during the day  can be loud depending on the time of year but overall the campground is very quiet. Some reviews complain of the bathroom  cleanliness but I found them nicer than many other state campgrounds as there are (3) bathroom facilities and (1) newer shower facility. Folks may not realize that these campgrounds do not make any money, they are not even self sufficient as far as funding goes so newer/updated amenities are rare.

Loved the experience I had. Only set back the showers were not kept up in the best condition.
