The museum and tower entrance are a bit hard to find but, worth the effort. Around the side of the building is a Starbucks and, the entrance is right next to it. The museum is mostly pictures but, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. At the end of the museum is the elevator to the tower. The first 9 floors offer a view of the old post office hotel.

As others have pointed out, it’s not a museum but a history gallery along the hallway leading to the elevator for the clock tower. The vintage photos are really neat. You’ll also learn about the post office building’s design and efforts to prevent its demolition. There are also exhibits on the master plan for Washington DC and why the site was selected to be the nation’s capital. Stop by before or after visiting the clock tower.

A great place to go for a view of the city. It's hard to find but if you look for the Starbucks at the Trump Hotel it's right there. The views are fantastic but it can get quite windy. Definitely one of the places to visit when you are in DC.

Nice informative posters on the history of DC and the Old Post Office on the way to the tower. Great view of downtown Washington once up. Bonus view of the atrium on the way up. Oh and free admission!

This museum was a little hard to find. You have to come in through the back of the Trump Hotel near the Starbucks to find the "museum". I put it in quotations because it's mostly just a hallway with some history of the city on the walls. The best part however is the elevator ride up to the tower with views of the hotel and D.C. I highly recommend finding your way over to this lesser known National Park site and get some great views of the city!
