Performance Automotive and Tire is your best source for quick and reliable vehicle repair in Pittsboro, Chapel Hill and Apex, NC, and surrounding areas. Since 1999, our ASE-certified technicians have offered comprehensive knowledge and experience to repair all makes and models with the latest diagnostic equipment. We have factory-trained Honda and GM technicians on site. Conveniently located at 1027 East St., Pittsboro, our shop is just minutes away from the University of North Carolina. Performance Automotive is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drop in during business hours to meet owner Jason Harris or contact us online.

At Performance Tire, we have the widest selection of replacement tires in the area, featuring premium manufacturers like MICHELIN®, BFGoodrich® and Uniroyal®, along with Continental, Cooper, Fuzion, General, Goodyear, Hankook, Nexen, Pirelli, Toyo, Yokohama, Maxxis and Nitto. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is always happy to make recommendations, or you can shop from home via the online tire finder. Simply type in your vehicle’s make, model and year to receive a list of suggested replacement sets. Performance Tire can perform regular or low profile installations, rotations, flat repairs and computer spin and road force balancing.
