Precision Tune Auto Care & Brakes has been located at 2105 East NC Highway 54 in Durham, NC for the last 24 years as an auto repair center and tire dealer. I have been going to this Precision tune for many years.  Most of my car's maintenance has been done by them.  The owners are great individuals and does great work.  They let you know when something needs to be done and when something can be done at another time.  they do not force any service that I feel that is not required.  My only problem I have had with them is that sometimes it feels like the people who work for them does not treat your car like it is there own.  I have had a few minor incident that did not make me feel happy during that time of service.

Update... when I talked to them about the incidents, the offered to pay for it.

This is the best  location we have found in Durham for all our car maintenance and repairs. I know of no place less expensive to get an oil change or do the routine stuff. (There are always good coupons available in mail flyers or on the Internet.) I have also had more major work such as brake jobs, oil leak repairs, and water pump replacement done there. I am mechanically inclined so I know if someone is trying to get me to buy service I don't really need. They never do. They have REAL mechanics on duty.

I have been going to the hwy 54 location for almost 4 years and only had one issue (which was made right by Bryan and Marty).  This business is respectable and I feel comfortable getting my vehicles serviced there. 

I have been to other precision locations/car places around the Raleigh/Durham area and had issues. I recommend driving to this location even if it is further.

I found them to be the most reasonably priced place in town. I needed brake work and new tires and got several quotes from many places but they were able to give me pricing several hundred dollars lower than the rest. I took my car there and they were quick and did excellent work. Definitely recommend

Be very careful of these 2 owners, they supposedly fixed my car air conditioner that I paid a large fee for and I went to pick my car up from them. My air conditioner worked for about a day or two then went out again. I called them to tell them of the problem and they told me to bring it in so I did, they inspect the air conditioner again and told me it would be $500 for them to fix it when I paid for a whole diagnostic the first time. They try to cheat customers and didn’t care that I had a very poor experience. I had to call upper management to try to get some help to further resolve the issue. If they give you advice on your car try to get a second opinion and don’t just take there word for it. I’m no longer a customer for this center.
