My dad takes the cars to this auto mechanic. I have had several bad experiences with them. First, they did not put my brakes back together properly which resulted in dangerous mechanical problems while driving. When I returned the car, I had to pay for their mistake. Second, I just got a new car and my dad took the car to this auto shop to get an oil change; something so simple. Whoever did the oil change did not put the oil filter on properly; and thus, resulted in burning fumes in the cabin and oil leaking. I took the car back to the auto shop last Monday, 1/7/2017, to fix this problem. I again had to pay for this mistake and just realized they did not lift my car properly resulting in damage to the passenger side skirt/rocker panel. I would avoid doing business with this auto shop. They will damage your car, act like it didn't happen, and make you pay for it after the initial payment. You are better off doing business somewhere else.

We have been taking our vehicles to Performance Auto Care for years and the customer service and quality of work has been absolutely FANTASTIC! !! I had some.work done on my Jeep Patriot today and Melinda is such a knowledgeable associate not to mention an all around sweetheart,  she gave me her professional opinion or suggestion on what I needed to have done to get my vehicle back into top running condition and pointed out a safety issue that needed an immediate repair that the competitor down the street didn't even mention  (JUST TIRES ) when they so called did a front end alignment on my car. 
The folks at Performance Auto Care have our business for life , thank you Melinda, Perry and the rest of your talented crew  for servicing the Knightdale area.

More knowledgeable about one of my vehicles (Acura) than the dealer. Fixed a braking issue that the dealer could not figure out and tuned up has the vehicle running as if brand new. Even with a full lobby they were able to repair and have me out in an hour or so. Performance car care has earned my business.

My husband took his car in to check a leak and after paying for it to be 'fixed' the car is still leaking the same fluid at the same location. He took it back in and they said its something new now and will cost another $$$$. Hard to believe that a leak that hasn't changed is now something different. Very upset, will not be returning. Watch out!!

Fast, upfront and honest about the issues and what's it going to take to fix them. Would recommend to anyone needing an honest shop.
