Everybody wants to stop and hum a few bars or maybe even sing the whole song while they're standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona next to a flatbed Ford. One  almost has to wait in line to get a picture. Anyway it was like that for us. The statues are wonderful but they're not who you might think they are I am going to leave that part of the mystery for you to look up as opposed to being a spoiler period when you're in Winslow everybody stops and stands on the corner for just a little bit.
I'm sure you will too!

Ther have created a great hang out for any Eagles fans.  They even have a flat bed Ford parked at the corner.  Nice statues and gift shops.  The giant Route 66 logo in the intersections is like putting a cherry on the top of this great Americana shake. Extremely have I made this detour to visit.

Came here with my family this summer, and we were all in love with the history and music culture! There is an adorable 60's-style soda shop and rock music playing on all corners of the street. Super-friendly people, which was surprising considering how much of a tourist-trap this town is. Recommended 3 to 4 hours to see most of the things there are to see in Winslow.

Now there are 2 statues one of beloved Glenn Frey. The ultimate duo are now standing on the corner for you to take photos along with a red flatbed ford! The two shop owners on the corners are so nice too! The lady opened back up for a few of us to browse and purchase if we like. No one does that anymore! Thanks sweetie.... p.s. get them upside down legs back on the bench outside for pics! Love them.

Winslow, Az and the iconic standing on a corner.  Made famous by the Eagles.  The wonderful mural has suffered over the years.  The building burnt down but they managed to save the wall.  They added a nice little park area.  Now the mural needs repainting.
