Came in at approximately 8:00 PM on November 25. Went shopping for some various things and saw that several items (e.g., ExoTerra 13W bulbs) were labeled on sale, buy 1 get 1 free. Got to the register, the cashier rang everything up and the total seemed off. I asked about the sale and told her there were stickers, she said "they're probably for yesterday" and had ME go check. As it turns out, she was right, the stickers were valid only for Nov 24 but nobody took them down. She acknowledged this and said "I wasn't the one who closed last night so it's not my fault." To me, if you're working in the store, it doesn't matter who did closings. You should address these issues as they come up. The woman behind us in line argued that the cashier should give us the sale price anyway, but the cashier ignored her and would only respond with dismissive groans and grunts. You could tell she couldn't care less. It was late, I didn't feel like arguing with her myself, so I just bit the bullet and spent the extra $30. Came back today Nov 26, at 2:00 PM and the stickers are still there. Apparently the cashier chose not to tell anybody or not to take down the stickers herself. Additionally, some stickers were labeled for Nov 24 only, but some I noticed were valid through today too. At a quick glance, nobody is going to notice the difference (and indeed, the stickers are always made in a way that the date is overwhelmed by the advertised sale in terms of space). Wish we had made more of an issue of it. I'm almost positive PetSmart has a policy regarding this sort of thing. This kind of "couldn't be bothered" attitude is unpleasantly common for the employees at this location. Will probably just shop at another location from now on. Maybe 1 star is a bit harsh just for the employees not caring, but if they don't, then why should I?

This PetSmart is great! My fiancee and I went in over the weekend to stock up for our new puppy and when we were checking out, the girl at the cash register took one look at our haul and was like "New puppy?" We said yes and she gave us this big book of coupons (there was one for probably everything in our cart) and was very friendly and super patient walking us through everything it included (grooming, obedience training etc). It probably saved us like $50. Will definitely be back :)

So i took my puppy on saturday 01/27/2018 early in the morning because he was ill of something he ate early that morning. I left him there for like 3 hours and they couldnt find the issue and almost let him died. They also told me to take it to the emergency room before it's too late and made me waste more money. Shout out to Amanda! My son and I were there today looking for fish. My son is just getting started and he killed two fish in the fist two days. We were having a discussion and Amanda came over and totally schooled my son. The knowledge she had was the most impressive I have ever wittnessed! This young lady who recently relocated from Texas is definitely the person you need to talk to if you have any questions concerning aquariums or fish! My hat is off to you young lady! My son has been on that website you gave him researching exactly what he wants! We will be back to get him started the correct way thanks to you! You rock girl! I thank you, my son thanks you and his future fish thank you!!

We just relocated to VA, and have never had a bad experience here plus one time they were having difficulty cutting our pups nails (she's not a fan) and they allowed for my bf to stand Right on the other-side of the check-in door. (Yes we know that's not allowed, but people with great etiquette and awesome customer service, who Understood....were ok with him helping them hold her.) However this last time Michelle said it was of course "not allowed", and just now when I call to see if they are booked for the rest of the day, she has a snappy/obviously annoyed or tired response "Yeah!" You can be Great at grooming pets, but you still should have great customer service when working with Pet-Owners as well. Maybe offer an other time/day available or shoot even another location near by. Better Customer Service would be ideal.
