I make sure to come spend a week here at least once a year. I love it. There's so much to do. And a week is usually not enough to explore everything this place has to offer. There's trails. There's lake. There's peace and quiet. What else do you want? As long as you're well equipped, nothing should be a bother.

I've been going here since I was a little kid and have only missed two summers in my entire 38 years of life. Amazing fresh air clean and neat facilities very good people. And the park Rangers are the best. Be sure to take the hike which is just around the corner from the campground to Rancheria Falls.

Rancheria a beautiful campground and Huntington Lake is breathtaking. Truly enjoyed camping there in 2013. Also, not that it matters, but you can get cellphone service, just an added perk.

Great location with all sites being 5 min or less walk to the shore. Some of the sites are small, while some are huge! Dumpsters co-located with bathrooms which can be inconvenient as there are no trash receptacles at each site. Toilets are pit-style. No showers. Water is delicious, cold mountain water. Nice fire pits. Site 112 could not really fit 2 family tents, but the site is also not listed as a double. Site 113 isn't either, but could easily fit 3 full-size tents. Somewhat frustrating, but wasn't an issue. Hosts are friendly, informative, and proactive.
