We stayed at the camp for 3 nights in June 2016. Absolutely loved it! Nice and quiet place surrounded by woods, a creek bubbling by... couldn't get any better! The camp is about 30 miles from Yosemite Village but after a day spent at a national park with loads of tourists, I was happy to drive back to quiet wilderness. The only drawbacks were the mosquitoes and flies at sunset and the traffic noise from State Route 41.

Booked around 4 or 5 months early and stayed in mid-August. We booked site 13 and it was very good! Room for 2 small tents and 3 hammocks! Very cold at night and into morning! If you're well equipped it's no problem! Restrooms were pit toilets, I feel were kept clean and managed for most of the time. Location to the Yosemite national park entrance was awesome and very convenient! Took about 10-15 to get to the entrance, maybe 45-1hr to get to Yosemite valley! We also drove about 1.5 hours to get to another trailhead near the east entrance! Camp host was awesome! Kept up with all the guests, made sure everything was in check. She gave us tips on where the nearest stores were and which had the best prices! Loved our campsite and it made our camping trip very enjoyable!

Nice campground, maintained, quiet, and friendly people. Only stayed one night. The campground host was great and had lots of information for us (bears, hiking trails, etc). She liked to keep everything in order. We had a great spot with lots of shade, the other spots were very open. Toilets were as clean as pit toilets could be, no complaints. Glad we stayed when it wasn't so busy.
