Great location. I LOVED that they have free bikes to use. My wife and I biked around downtown. It only took a few minutes to get there from the hotel and we didn't have to worry about parking. The rooms were nice, but maybe a little outdated. Not super clean. It was pretty obvious that the toilet hadn't been cleaned. At least not thoroughly. And if the toilet wasn't cleaned, you can bet other stuff wasn't cleaned either. I would probably stay there again.

The room was big and quite nice beds. Only thing is that there is just nothing to do in Boise (or how I have experienced it). We had to look for hours to find a place to dine. (which is not the hotels fault). In general the hotel was good for its price.

Very nice staff. Food is good, bar is lively. The hotel itself is a bit dated and starting to show it's age. But wifi was fast and reliable and I had a nice big TV in room. The place seems really well run, possibly overdue for a remodel.

I must say that the check in experience was HORRIBLE.  I booked using Hotel Tonight, and showed up at about 9:30pm that same night shortly after I booked.  The agent was very disgruntled and acted like it was an inconvenience to check me in, and thus took forever in doing so.  He was upset that Hotels Tonight sends faxes rather than other communication and told me that they were oversold that night, after spending 10 minutes clicking away, presumably double charging me.  When I politely asked him to just let me know if they are overbooked or not so I could leave and find another hotel, he magically found a room for me, which didn't surprise me since it would seem obvious at that hour if there was a room available or not.  Finally, when I was checking in, he indicated that he needed my Plate Number on my car. When I told him I don't know it and had just returned from my car getting my luggage while waiting endlessly for him to finish checking me in, he told me that without the license number it was likely they would just simply tow me.  He said this with a great deal of attitude. I indicated my car make and model and year, 1990 Porsche Convertible White, and said that it was not a common car and they should just note it and not tow it.  He reiterated that it may be towed. Then I asked where the elevator was, and he again acted like it was an inconvenience to tell me.  Getting double charged on this added insult to injury.

I do not recommend this hotel

I only stayed for a quick overnight trip and didn't see much of the hotel other than the lobby and the room. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and appeared to be recently updated. I would stay here again.
