I purchased an adjustable bed frame and mattress in October 2017. I explained to the sales person that I had recently had surgery and the adjustable bed was needed for my recovery. The bed frame and mattress were delivered in early November 2017, however, the store delivered the wrong mattress. When I called the store, the manager explained that they had made a mistake and that they would re-order the correct mattress but it would take some additional time before the new mattress would be available for delivery. I explained to the manager that I no longer had my old mattress and was now required to sleep on the couch with my medical condition. The manager again apologized and informed me that because it was the store's mistake, I would be compensated for my inconvenience after the correct mattress was delivered. I accepted the manager at his word and agreed to wait for the correct mattress. In the mean time while waiting for the mattress I made an additional purchase from the store, feeling like they had felt with me in good faith by acknowledging their mistake and offering compensation. However, when the correct mattress was delivered nearly two weeks later, I did not hear anything from the store reference the compensation for my inconvenience. I contacted the store about a week after the mattress was delivered to inquire about the compensation and was told that the manager who had made the promise was no longer working there. I was referred to customer service. I called customer service several times and was told that someone would be giving me a call regarding my situation. After nearly a month there was no call back and so I went back to the store. Again I was referred to customer service and again their was no response. I eventually got a call from customer service, only to inform me that someone would be contacting me. After receiving no response, I contacted the current store manager and explained my displeasure with how I was being treated and being brushed aside when this whole situation was a result of the store's mistake in the first place. To sum everything up, I eventually got a call from the store manager who explained that the mattress that I initially purchased was incorrectly priced and that I had purchased it at a reduced price and therefore I would receive no other compensation. Needless to say, I was not satisfied with this response. I had nothing to do with the fact that the original mattress that I purchased was incorrectly priced. All I know is that I went nearly two weeks without a bed while recovering from surgery. I can guarantee that I, nor any of my family members, will ever make another purchase from this store. There are plenty of other furniture stores in the area who will now be getting my business.

I love the furniture and the awesome deals, but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BUYING THE PROTECTION PLAN! I bought the 5 year protection plan, and when I moved I called for the cleaning and repair. With The house I moved into the opennings were a little smaller, and the furniture tore a little trying to squeeze it in. Long story short I went back and forth with them for 2 years about fixing it with no results. They called, sent emails, and requested photos. I fulfilled my end with sending photos of my damages and areas I needed clean, and no one ever came out. I will never buy it again!

On Wednesday (Nov 22, 2017) I entered the store and spoke with a gentleman behind the front counter (Mr. Greg Roberts). Although Mr. Roberts was rather busy at the time he stopped what he was doing to address my questions. I found him to be professional, very helpful and most importantly to me, very pleasant to speak with. He explained to me he was the District Manager and would present me to a salesperson should I wish to make a purchase. Mr. Roberts did not direct me to a salesperson, he came from behind the counter and personally sought one out (Mr. Stephen Brooks). Mr. Roberts and Mr. Brooks made my shopping experience worth returning and mentioning the establishment to friends and colleagues. Respectfully, Jerome E. Stoudamire

If it were possible, I'd give 0 stars. From the salesman who wasn't very interested in answering questions or talking except when I pointed out that value city had better prices and even Bob's furniture. This is supposed to be a discount furniture store you know, like you guys get the furniture that doesn't sell at the sister stores. The receptionist needs to either figure put if she wants to argue or please the customer because she was lost. The manager spent more time trying to find a loophole to not give me my money back as opposed to just giving me my money back because I didn't want to wait 8 weeks for 1 piece of a bed to come in. The sales rep promised no more than 2 weeks, possibly 3. Management should've respected my standpoint and refunded my money so that he could keep a potential customer and good word of mouth. He chose to argue and he lost. Will never go back, will never refer anyone, and I will warn everyone I know. Also, corporate is a joke as well. No response whatsoever for a month now.

I give 0 stars. We ordered our couch back in October and not only have still not received it, but we never heard a word from anyone after we paid for it. The salesman told us he would call the next business day to schedule a delivery and we never heard back. I called the customer service line every other week to check on the status, and the date kept getting delayed. The paperwork says that after 8 weeks, if we haven’t received our item, we are entitled to a refund. My husband went to the store today to get a refund, being that we paid for the couch almost 10 weeks ago, but conveniently their machine that they use to issue refunds is “broken”. He was asked to come back tomorrow but we have a feeling we’ll hear the same thing. Now not only have we had no couch, especially through the holidays, but we couldn’t even get our money back today. I don’t know how this place stays in business, and I wish I would’ve checked the reviews first. Never again.
