Heat place way helpful. A variety of knowledge among employees some one is going to have an answer for you. The owner is local and a great person that is heavily involved in the community. True value is almost half the price of Ace. I pass an Ace on my way to True value because of the combination of price and helpfulness

Their website says that one service they provide was "pipe cutting." Since it is a national chain, I called ahead and asked if they really did cut pipes and discussed what kind of pipe I needed cutting. I was told that they could cut it. So, I made the trip over there on my lunch hour. When I got there, the woman that was called to help me said "oh, you can cut that with a hacksaw" When I asked about the pipe cutter, she said that they "don't do that". I thought that because the reviews had talked about a mom/pop kind of place, that they would be helpful. NOT!! If they had been honest on the phone, I wouldn't have made the trip, but I object to making the drive and then being treated so rudely!
