I'll start with the good. This hotel is so nice! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, with a dining area, kitchen, and living area.  It also had a washer and dryer and came with a basinet, which definitely came in handy for our little one.  We really enjoyed staying there.  Initially we called to see if they had any rooms available and the lady that my husband spoke with said they had about 20 rooms available.  We were driving from Texas and the reception kept cutting in and out so he didn't want to make a reservation over the phone he just wanted to make sure there were rooms available since were were about an hour away.  Once we got close to the base, my husband called again and was going to just make the reservation since we had our 2 year old and 3 week old baby with us, we didn't want to have to wait to get a room when we got there.  The guy he spoke with said they didn't have any rooms available.  My husband told him he spoke with someone about an hour ago and they said there was 20 rooms available, and the guy said the rooms are already sold out.  So we went there anyways, and when I asked for a room the lady gave me one.  So not too sure why the guy was lying about not having any rooms available, but my suggestion is go anyways to get a room if you need one. Because it seems someone there can't be trusted.

Very inexpensive and quality is great. There is a quaint coffee shop that is equal to Starbucks :)

First of all, I have never been in base lodging. This is my first PCS with my husband and we had no idea what to expect. We had two pets, and we're having a hard time finding a decent place to stay that we would still be eligible for reimbursement. I checked base lodging several times and they were always full. When they finally had an opening, we jumped on it. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in to a space that was larger than our first apartment! Two bedrooms, one queen bed, and two twins along with a pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of space! Very clean when we arrived, however, house keeping did nothing when they came in our room. They took out the trash and replaced a dishwasher tab that had been used. They did not change sheets or even make the bed. They didn't replace any towels, vaccuum the floors, nothing. I was present when they were there and I was shocked that they didn't clean anything. The front desk staff was also quite rude and condescending to us. They always seemed that it was an inconvenience for us to ask questions and inquire about availability for the rest of our needed stay. Our neighbor had the most annoying dogs that would be barking until midnight. That's not really the hotels fault, but they should be more strict about the rules being followed. Overall, I liked the room we stayed in, and I wasn't impressed with the staff. The price was nice, you can't find anything in the surrounding area in that price point.

Everything about our stay in this hotel was great, except for the young lady working at the  Starbucks in the lobby. She was rude on several occasions and then to top things off she got our order wrong on our last morning here. I could understand if maybe it was one morning out of the five that I visted, but it was everyday. It's really unacceptable, would have rated 5 stars if not for that.
