So glad I did not purchase the furniture I had planned to get when I walked in Rooms To Go last night. A man soon came up to me to ask if I needed help and I said "Yes, I am looking for a sectional, a table (with chairs) and a dresser. Maybe more. So I quickly found the sofa I wanted due to looking online for 2 months. So I was asking him about the colors and he said he would be right back, he had to help these other customers. So, I waited and waited and he never returned so I asked to see the manager. The manager said he "was sorry" and that was that. No other explanation or offer to help me himself. So I left and told them I would be contacting the main office. Ha. I bet they do not care either. The guy then said the reason he was helping the other people was "he had previously been helping them." I know for a fact that was a lie because that family came in the door at the exact time I did as the man held the door for me. He is also a liar. I remember thinking when I was asking him about the colors before he ran off he seemed completely disinterested. I went to that store ready to drop $6 to $7 thousand dollars, he lost a good sales commission because he is a judgmental fool. I don't know why he would be judging me, would it be because I was a woman alone? No man with me? Well, women have good money, also. His name was Mirkel who works at Southpark Meadows location in Austin, Texas. I will never shop there again. Lost a good customer that really wanted that sectional but you know they are a dime a dozen. Ha! I see every other review received a response from the owner. No response for my review. Thanks, I will keep spreading the word about your lousy store. I guess they have no words for the rude creeps they hire to work at their store.

This is the second time we have purchased from this store. Alex Lopez was our sales rep this time. He was very helpful, and knowledgeable, and gave us our space (no pressure). Twice in nine years, and still great. As long as delivery goes as scheduled, we'll be very pleased.

You know when you purchase a new home you also want new furniture. My husband and I went to Rooms to go, because friend of our recommended them and their prices. We made a big purchased of Feb 10th, we were told that today Feb 20th we would have half of the order and later in April the other pieces since they did not have any in stock and that was fine with us. Delivery day comes around and my husband took the full day off work since delivery was between 9am-1pm after 11am I called in to make sure we were still on the schedule since it had been raining all day. I spoke to a representative who told me it wasn't delivered yet, but I had until 1pm, understood, and hung up. 1pm comes around, I call my husband to ask about the furniture and he says it hasn't been delivered yet so I start worrying. At 2:45pm I called the 1-800 number, spoke to the rep and she states that the delivery guy was outside my house at 9:15am, she describes the house and I confirmed it was it. NOBODY got off the vehicle to come ring the door bell, NOBODY got close to my drive way!! We have cameras outside that are connected to our personal cell phones. My husband and I would have known if they were there or not plus I called multiple times to confirm my appointment and was told they weren't there yet.. We are very disgusted by Rooms to go and if we hadn't already paid for the rest of the furniture we would pull it back. According to the sales rep they use a 3rd party delivery, well you know what I DONT CARE your name is on the line here so make it work.! I was told that instead Rooms to go will reimburse me $75 for the misunderstanding of today, umm noo I just want my furniture today!! Of course that not going to happen so instead I wrote them a review on their page, facebook and google and now we have to wait a few more weeks to get our furniture.... My question is, does Corporate not care of the service they are currently providing? Do they not see the horrible reviews below this one? I'm just curious.... #sorryNOTsorry they don't ever deserve this 1 star.

We’ve been waiting for our furniture for 2 months, i find it interesting that they call and call to make sure someone is there for delivery but then receive a call a day later that it will be a month longer. How crappy

Went in and picked out and paid for a Power Recliner, much to my disappointment it could not be delivered for 2 weeks but I was settled for the date and waited. When the delivery truck arrived (they had called and verified we would be home at least 3 times) they had the wrong chair not power and This was after they damaged my wall bringing it in, the house is not even 40 days old. No resolution was offered but after being treated rudely on the phone the best they could do to fix the issues was call me 2 hours later and say Friday was the earliest they could correct the mistake and get me the correct chair. I am going to wait for the new delivery date since this is to help relive my back pain so i will be held hostage to the poor customer service. The thing that gets me is that from sales to management nobody really cared to get this right. Save yourself the pain go to STAR or Haverty's you will not get treated this way this is the last thing i will ever buy from Rooms to Go. Company’s response are meaningless do business somewhere else
