Story

Ross' is family owned, and operated by Hal Ross. Ross' opened in 1945. Hal has ran the diner since 1988. Ross' offers great breakfast and lunch. Most of our items are family recipies that have stayed the same. Homemade biscuits & gravies and the best grits and pancakes are always good for breakfast. Favorites for lunch are the homemade chili burgers and chili dogs(try a one & one 1/2 fry and tea), and the country cubed steak and gravy as a plate w/2veg. or a steak sandwich. We use
fresh cubed steak and fresh ground beef for all burgers and hamburger steaks.

My favorite home town burger and breakfast place. The food is inexpensive and tasty. It's cramped but the history and authenticity of the place make that a moot point. (If you're of limited mobility it might be difficult to dine inside, but there are outside tables.)

This place is quaint. It has been here for yeeeeears. The food tastes great and it's like eating from your Grandma's kitchen. Counter top set up with stools to pull up. Small inside but it is cozy. This place does get busy at lunch time! Prices are great! Staff is super sweet. Definitely worth a trip in if you're visiting Cartersville or you live here and haven't yet.

We wanted to have breakfast at a local diner and this was a great choice! The service was prompt and friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere was perfect. We will return when we're back in town.
