Phil Nichols was exceptional! He was knowledgeable, on time, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our problem was solved. He walked us through every step of the process and listened to our questions and concerns. He is a true professional! Our new hot water heater looks great and works great. We had Greg Price, #4682, show up at about 8pm on a Sunday night. We had a pretty good sized septic backup that was coming up through the pipes. He was very friendly, explaining what he was doing every step of the way and making sure I understood what was going on. He was at my home about 4 hours. The system had more issues then his equipment was able to fix, so he called one of his co-workers late at night to arrange for him to come to my home the next morning. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter (and if you live in the Tacoma area, I would ask for Greg!)

I rated our service as three stars, averaging two appointments. The first appointment would be a five-star rating (clearing the main drain). Customer service was great as was the demeanor of the technicians. We knew that we would be needing subsequent sewer line repair and scheduled a follow-up appointment the next day for a camera view. That appointment I would rate as a one-star. The technician said he could only go out 15 feet because of the blockage. (My husband ran our sewer rod/snake out 40 feet after he left -- the prior technicians had done a good job of clearing.). The estimate the camera technician gave us for a "patch job" was quite over-priced, and he was somewhat defensive when questioned about the cost. We will be exploring other options.

Response was fast for a holiday weekend and the onsite tech was great. He worked fast, to get the pipe unclogged, and cleaned up after he was all done A+++ Corporate Office contact afterward was not the best. I called to get information required from our warranty company, the AR department was minimally helpful, and gave me the wrong policy# when I requested insurance information. I was able to look up the correct information I needed on the L&I Website though and send their full profile to my warranty company. Clearly could use more training in that department.

Came out within a few hours of me calling and fixed the issue. The only thing I did not like about using them was the mess that was left. I had to hose down the entire basement. For how much this cost me I feel I should not have had to do that. But we are definitely happy things are working again!
