I went there interested in a car I'd seen online. Everything was pleasant, dealing with the salesman who contacted me via my inquiry online, and test driving it. I had already filled out my financial paperwork online prior to my visit (I have a 45 min drive to there). When I started talking to them about purchasing it. They offered me a payment plan $375-$400 a mo. for 60 mo's. The vehicle was listed at $15,499 and I was paying $3200 down. I was shocked. They added $700 doc fee. I had good credit so I ask about the interest rate. They would not tell me. Each time they went and talked to the finance guy and came back with a little lower payment but still unreasonably high. I asked about 10 times what was my finance rate and mentioned using my personal bank to get a better one. They never once told me what it was and told me I'd "end up losing $1000 of discounts if I didn't go with Toyota for financing so it wouldn't be worth checking on". The finance guy came over and was so pushy and got irritated when I said I wanted to think about it over night and check with my insurance company on rates also. He was visibly angry. He kept saying "why can't we get this thing done?" "I know you didn't drive all the way up here just to test drive a car." , and actually said "Now, we stayed late for you". I actually had to say "Because I will not be pressured into buying any vehicle" and I left. I went the next day to another dealership down the road and got a car listed at $15,999, paid the 3200 down and my payment is $240/mo. For 60 mo. They told me immediately what my interest rate was and had no doc fees. It was so simple. I am still shocked at the difference in payment amounts. I honestly felt like they were trying to screw me over.

Purchased a truck from salesman Blake Johnson that was a outstanding person that went out of his way to help me out.  A good person to deal with. Everyone  stayed well passed closing time until everything was done. Thanks again! Bluegrass Rules!!

Took my vehicle in to Serra Toyota for the first time ever for service. I needed rotors put on. The experience was awesome! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, I was in and out within a little over an hour. I was impressed. If I had gone anywhere else, I would’ve been waiting all day. They will definitely get my business from now on!

We really enjoyed working with our salesman, David, I feel that he went above and beyond for us. So I would like to give higher rating simply for him.

 However, The sales manager will belittle you on your trade and offer you a free oil change so he doesn’t have to talk with you. Our damage disclosure went from 0 when we purchased to $700 over night, to the new damage disclosure of $900. With the answer of we didn’t know, it got caught between the cracks, etc....

When talking with the sales manager again “you were happy with the deal we have you on tape so I have done all I can do for you.” “ The deal is already done.”

Please be aware when buying in the future.

Shawn Kizer deserves a 5 star review! He was very helpful and tried his hardest to get me into a car! The management team could use some work, which ultimately hindered me from buying. Although I did not walk away with a car, Shawn was great through the end and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a car!!
