We have been going to this campground for years. It's crowded (not much space between campsites), but there are tons of amenities and kids love it. We prefer the more private campsites found at State parks, but Shenandoah Family Campground does have a lot to offer.

This campground has something for everyone. No frills tent area to full hook up 50 amp sites. We are here at the end of September, seems like they are tired from a busy summer. For RVs, numerous pull thru sites, but results in close proximity to others. Heated pool, indoor hot tubs. Not squeaky clean , but OK.

Great campsite for 12-16YO on the weekend. They take over the place and certainly destroy the bathrooms,pool and hot tubs. They seem to have a free for all of the grounds with their bikes and golf carts. During the week, the place is maintained, quiet and clean.

Have been coming here for almost 20 years with my family and loved every trip!

The campground has a lot to do. Pool, river, playground, bunnies. My kids enjoyed it. Not 5 stars because the employees did not enforce the age limit on the hot tubs, had kids under 17 with no adults doing cannon balls in the hot tubs. Would not expect the rules to be enforced when a employee does not following them, had one smoking in the bathroom when I was in the shower. Not very pleasant.
