It has a rough road getting into it, but the resort itself is staffed by a great crew and well-maintained. It has a mixture of seasonal / permanent residents, most of them with really nice and fun setups that add a lot of charm to the place. It has a safe, fun & casual atmosphere. It's a great value for their rates, with the pool, the lake, and the beach. They have an activity and event schedule as well.

OMG..Resort??? LOL Not! Campground??? Not! Trailer park? You got it!..More permanent residents then campers....most appeared to be products of interbreeding. If you enjoy sleeping with one eye open or leaving the "resort" and worrying what may happen to your property left behind...well this is the resort for you. If you want to sleep with folks that resemble those of the actors in the hills have eyes or deliverance...you will love this place. After the drive into the the facility you will need a lung transplant from all the dust kicked up, you may need new shocks also. One last word of advice, do not eat the breakfast sausage...I shat myself on the roadside!

This is not a camp ground. It is a trailer park. Made reservations for a pull through site with premium full hook up given a back in site. Only WATER and ELECTRIC. ONLY PEOPLE WHO GET FULL HOOK UP ARE THE PERMANANT RESIDENTS. Pool is clean lake is nice. But the mini golf is in disrepair. They say they rent golf carts but none.Only full timers have golf carts. No horseshoes, General store is way over priced. Bath houses are in need of repair. Overall the place is quiet.. The full timers take over the pool and beach. Make you feel unwelcome with their raunchy talk and actions and drinking. Will NEVER EVER COME BACK HERE. Also nothing for children to do boast of an arcade type entertainment but none but come Friday the place fills up for BINGO AND LIVE BANDS.

Trailer park? Yes. Resort? HELL NO....Might loose an axle on the way in....The lake is beautiful and the lots are as well, but whats up with all the permanent residents? And on top of that they have all the good spots. looks like management caters to them a little too much is the reason you cant rent a golf cart either...
