We were directed here by staff at the Shenandoah National Park gates, as their grounds were full. It was a good enough spot for tent camping. Once you get off the road there's a wooded spot. 

Person who checked us in wasn't friendly, but she wasn't rude, either. The bathrooms were nice and clean. It was a bit noisy at night with people up playing music. They sell firewood on the grounds. 

The pool is very tiny, and it closed way too early. It would have been nice to enjoy it a bit later, but we survived.

When I've traveled several thousand miles to get to a destination, I like to be treated as if my patronage is appreciated.  We've stayed here on multiple visits when work has taken me to the area.  The folks here are over the top accommodating and courteous. They have been flexible when I was not sure of the  length of my stay.  The  laundry room is adequate, the sites are easy to get in and out of and not overly crowded. It's a bit away from everything but that is a small price to pay for the kindness of the staff and  the nice setting.

The staff were incredible. The bathrooms were spotless. The Halloween activities for children were great. My 3 year old loved it, and my wife and I loved seeing him have so much fun. They even had a live band and my son actually danced. Got it on video. Thanks to the staff for such great memories. We will be back in the spring!

Have enjoyed our visit thus far. Placed in quiet area. Definitely better that the stray cats have been removed.
