I like the new location better than when it was in Wilton Manors.  The Searstown Plaza is very easy to park in.  The front desk guy (Eddie) is always so friendly and I love having the ability to use the free weights and equipment without it being super busy.  Pivotal across the street is super busy and it is hard to get workouts in.  Steel built new space to have classes so hopefully they will add classes soon. The area they gym is in is the part of the city just to the north of downtown that is all getting redeveloped with lots of new residential units coming in so the gym is in the perfect spot for all the new downtown residents.

The credit card I use for only the Steel Gym payment and Wilton Manors area parking was compromised and closed/reissued due to the Fraudulent charges. I told the credit card company the gym has physical paperwork with my credit card number etc. and they are investigating.
When going to Steel Gym to discuss the closed credit card account, discovered them moving all the equipment out of the building.
Decided should cancel the membership and told they could not access my information but took my name and said would cancel. Sign on the door then said moving and no location listed on their sign.
Now the E-Fit Collection they use are hounding me for even more money and charges even after taking a hand delivered letter of cancellation to the new location. The person who delivered the letter witnessed 2 other Very Dissatisfied members being treated very Rudely by the man at the desk who would not provide a receipt if they paid cash to cancel and also stated cancelled earlier and really did not owe anything. I don't see this place staying open very long. If they want to pursue this aggressive collection of moneys not owed to them, I would like to hear from other in this situation and talk with my attorney who I am sure would like to deal with Steel Gym in our behalf.

There is no one here and I like the "old" reliable equipment. The place needs a lot of work, but they just moved into the place a month or so ago. The employees have been fighting to get paid and it shows, but I don't blame them.

Here's how you DON'T announce that your gym is relocating... LOL. No letter, email (until the day after it is closed), phone call, Facebook announcement... Just post a sign on Saturday morning the day the move takes place. The Crunch Gym flyers wedged behind the sign are an awesome touch, though.

It should be called "STEAL GYM"   Because they steal your money.

After being EVICTED from Shoppes of Wilton Manors, the Synthol/Muscle implant botched patient, Ken Hunt, who doesn't know the first thing about fitness, btw,  decided to reopen his gym in searstwown. The scammer is STILL charging my credit card even though I have requested TWICE for them to stop.

They're using the same equipment, old, 15 year old equipment. When I went there, they were using Allen Keys to hold up weight stacks, ghetto. 

The ever-revolving cast of employees reflects the fact that they cant meet payroll and the manager on duty Skateboards to work, he cant afford a car. Sounds like a legit place, right?

Do yourself a favor and don't get involved with the farce of gym..... The Only Real Crappy Gym in Fort Lauderdale.
