Story

Summerlin Hospital announces it will embark on a new $16M capital improvement project to expand and renovate several areas within the hospital. The project includes adding 36 new medical-surgical beds bringing its total licensed capacity to 490 beds. The Women’s Center will undergo an expansion that entails adding another C-section suite and expanding triage, post-partum and Level II NICU and newborn nursery beds. Finally, the newly expanded pediatric unit will be undergoing a renovation as well. All of these improvements are in response to the growing healthcare needs of the greater Summerlin Community.
