My god ladies and gentlemen! The Breslin is absolutely spectacular and is worth every last penny. Thanks to our great waitress Selena, we were able to go through a large part of the menu. Make sure you hit up the buttery potatoes, seafood sausage and lamb burger, just simply amazing. The drinks menu is also purposely fitted to the food and we had a range of paired craft beers that sat really well with the food. Great spot!

Our experience was beyond exceptional. We’ve been a patron of the The Breslin for our 7 years and it’s easily one of ur favorite NYC restaurants. It’s always great when even your favorite restaurants find ways to up the ante. If you’ve never been to The Breslin, go for the burger, stay for everything else. The Lamb Burger is one of the best if not the best burgers in the city. The thrice cooked fries are absolutely perfect alongside the burger, and from my experience, there really isn’t a single thing you could order from the constantly evolving menu that wouldn’t be delicious. We usually go for the scotch egg to start, the burger and a veggie for a side. The server surprised us with a few extra appetizers while our scotch eggs were being fried up and literally everything she brought out was prepared to perfection. Every course down to the Apple Pie dessert and cocktails were just perfect, and the service absolutely matched the quality of the food. We frequent all of April Bloomfield’s restaurants but The Breslin has always been our favorite. As someone who’s been a patron of the Breslin for so long, trust me when I say that you can order anything from the menu, it will be perfect. Bonus: the music, and the general vibes of the place match are just as great as the food and service.

Good: the food was delicious and well made. Negative: We had made reservations well in advance and received several notifications that reminded us to be on time. We arrived 10 min early and had to wait another 30 from the time to our reservation until we were seated. At dinner, some plates were cleared while other members of our party were still eating. Our second course was already plated and the waiting staff asked whether we wanted to wait. We did! But the second course was still brought to the table 30 seconds later. We understand that Christmas is busy. However, we did expect to be seated within a reasonable time period. And ultimately, we did not expect to be rushed through our Christmas dinner due to poor scheduling and other guests waiting for our table. Improvements needed.

Solid bar if you want to drink like a local. Not terribly easy to locate if you don't know the area, but met friends here and it's definitely a place to check out. The food around us looked good, though I we didn't eat anything, we just drank.

This place is the bomb! Our hotel room wasn’t ready when we got into town, so we came here to get in from the cold and have a little snack. I saw the sourdough pancake with spiced apples on the menu and couldn’t not order it. It was one of the most delectable things I’ve ever put in my mouth! BTW, it’s massive, so you can share. And the staff was super friendly. Can’t wait to go back on our next trip.
