I'm always asked if I need any help, and these employees seem genuinely happy to assist. This is one of the better home depot's I have been to.

Only had a small selection of GE refrigerators so I had to buy online, this is common with all the big box stores though so not really sure what you need sales people for, they cant show you anything "sorry but we dont have that" , they really want you to buy the LG or Samsung, make it difficult to purchase any other brand. Totally ignored special instructions on delivery page (why even ask if you dont care). The company they contract with for delivery gives a very rude message, in other words, its our way or too damn bad you wont get your stuff.  Totally uninterested in customer service hate to lay that on HD but they are the ones that contract with the delivery company. Wish I could say this was an unusual experience but its not, they are no worse than any other of these big box stores and no better either. So overall, a pretty typical poor customer service for a premium price experience.

My wife and I went to Home depo to purchase some construction materials. At the front of the store several workers greeted us at the entrance but when we reach the back where the lumber was we found cracked, warped lumber. The only lumber worth purchasing was up at the top shelves bundled and of course we could not get any assistance.  After sorting through the assorted piles  we found half of what we needed. At the large project  check out 3 workers walked away from the desk with out saying a word. The cashier was rude with my wife ,did not bag any of the 19 items in the cart. After she scanned the 2 lumber carts my wife asked  for some bags for the small items, again she was rude. She gave me my total and I asked how much were the blocks. She was rude to me.  We were planning to spend around 800 dollars but with the poor selection and customer service I definitely got the impression Home Depo did not want our business.  So I put my Home depo card back in my wallet  left everything at the register and left. Worst experience ever in any place of business.
