An awesome collection of modern arts (mainly paintings). Suitable for families with lots of programs/entertainments for kids. Plan your visit and know what would you like to visit ahead. Food is good but has waiting time (5-10 min which it's not bad for such a busy place). Overall I recommend it.

The museum is absolutely fantastic, it has collections you won't find anywhere else in the world and the building itself is a work of art. Seeing Starry Night alone makes a trip the museum more than worth it. I suggest going to the top floor and then working your way down, it makes it a bit more manageable. They also have audio guides you can use throughout the museum. If you're coming on the free Fridays I suggest coming at least 15 minutes early to get in line, it gets long quick or come after 6. Between 4 and 6 it is so crowded it can be hard to manage. Overall a great experience and a must see.

Great attraction for anyone who's interested in art. There's so many famous paintings here that I wasn't expecting and every exhibition (including the main collections) was a delight to look at. You can definitely get through the entire museum in about three hours if you're just speeding by, but you will miss so much history and critical information. I highly recommend splitting your visit into multiple days to focus on different sections of the museum. The amount of hidden artist knowledge is incredible!

Beautiful museum with a bunch of great classic and well known pictures and a lot of interesting, beautiful and intriguing artifacts. We had a short time in the museum and I wish we had more because I definitely had lots more to see. My kids (13,10,5,3)enjoyed the kids scavenger hunt, looking for interesting art and fulfilling all kinds of assignments. Great idea and keeps the kids interested.

Always a pleasant visit because of their permanent collection. There are usually solid special exhibits. I was pleasantly surprised by a photography collection by an artist I hadn't heard of. Great in the summer, and to avoid bad weather in winter although that is the busiest time of year. The gift shop us always fun. If you want to splurge a bit, the cafe is good, too.
