The Sex Museum of Amsterdam is honestly a tourist trap. This one is different. The staff is polite, and they have a very interesting collection. There is quite a lot of material that was well curated. I did feel that they lacked a bit of queer-related material, but it was still quite nice to see so many things about human (and animal) sexuality. The museum store also has some good books and cool fridge magnets... and plenty of sex toys.

I have been to the Sex Museum in Amsterdam and I felt that was a real museum. But this one is more of a photo / video gallery with a gift shop. The only interesting part here was the animal sex section, other than that, it's just a blown-up google image search of "sex portraits". I did not try the booby bounce because it was tacky for me. Quite an experience, but I do not really recommend it unless you have many days of stay in NYC. But if you are only in for a few days, spend your time elsewhere.

This museum is for the mature , and in some ways can make people who are uncomfortable with the human anatomy a little squeamish. In my opinion the displays are pretty cool, and they provide a brief history of various toys , as well as giving visitors the chance to interact with some of the displays. There is a bar with Jell-O shots that are shaped like different parts of the human anatomy. The best attraction in this museum is the bouncy house which lasts a little more than five minutes. After completing the maze of different exhibits, there is a pathway that leads into a lounge where you can relax and get a drink. If you aren't feeling up to chilling out in the lounge, you can continue to walk on the path towards the gift shop where you're guaranteed to find something you're interested in.

Awesome!!! Definitely something to do with you're wife/girlfriend. Many cool exhibits, mini bar for drinks and a fun gift shop. Got a deal on groupon for two. Well worth it.

This weekend was my first time here and I had a blast at the Studio 54 bar and bounce castle! The exhibits were informative and unique and the store was clean and organized.
