I loved this place! I had so much fun, like a kid in a pinball shop. The owner/manager was laid back, and you could tell this was a passion project of his. There are probably wildly different experiences at this place based on the time of day you visit, but if you're in the mood for a few hours of relatively inexpensive (for Manhattan) entertainment, and for an escape back to your childhood, this is the place to be. Also, a nice selection of old and new machines (I didn't even know they made new pinball machines until I played Game of Thrones pinball.....)

Fun place to go to every once in a while. Good amount of pinball machines and nice place. They have a card reward system. Prices are a little high for just pinball though.

Great place, nice staff! I've been there several times with my 15 yr old son & 5 yr old daughter. Both my kids have enjoyed their visits despite their age difference. Modern Pinball NYC has about 28 or so pin ball machines. Reasonable packages for hours of fun & play, stools to rest once you get a bit tired, small booster step at each pinball machine for younger kids and you get a nice 10% off your bill at the next door restaurant Mad Hatter. A great place for all age brackets.

What a great way to kill an hour or so! Around 40 different pinball machines on free play for $15! Hit the diner or pub after for food and drinks and voila, you've got a cool date. Good times.

Friendly guy greeted me inside and shared with me pricing and such. Roughly 25 pins. A couple old Ems from the 70s and a mixture of classics from the 80s and 90s. A few newer Stern pins. ALL machines are nicely maintained. Played the all and had no issues. One multicade video towards the back if you need a video game fix although it's an LCD screen so not true to old school. Overall a great time. Rather small and it wasn't crowded while I was there which made it fun. No food or drinks served here but plenty of places around and a discount is given next door so that's a nice touch.
