My son and I were visiting the area from Montana (him) and Idaho (me) for a long weekend to relax. We spent a morning at The Texas Zoo and had a blast. The jaguars were by far the best as they engaged us and were a lot of fun. Very much enjoyed the other critters as well. We highly recommend The Texas Zoo!

Sort of small, but... everything was clean and the animals are in appropriate habitats. I have been to zoos all over Texas and can normally find something to complain about, but this time we were pleasantly surprised. Zoo is nestled in a family friendly park within a very nice neighborhood AND the price is fair. Most zoos opt for cheaper area to save money. We plan to go back. Fingers crossed on the stage getting a makeover so we can sit for a lesson or two about the animals. Way to go, The Texas Zoo Victoria!

It was quiet. Not too crowded. The zoo keepers seemed to really love the animals and really wanted us to learn the best we could about them. There was a gift shop for souvenirs and an adorable train ride that the children can ride on for a little history of the zoo.

Saw their exhibit at the San Antonio Rodeo. I wanted to cry watching the animals pace back and forth In Their tiny enclosures. Completely ruined my night. I do hope their enclosures back “home” are nicer and roomier.

Awful !!! Lots of things closed, just a circle with 6 animals at most! .. It would of been good to know it was under construction ... nothing on website or infront.. it actually says petting zoo was open and it wasn't.... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND COME HERE
